The last photo I took was at Pinewood Lodge Campground in Plymouth. My sister and I went out kayaking a little after noon. We started to paddle around the island in the middle of the lake and we stopped to take pictures because we loved the way the sunlight reflected and sparkled off the water. I took the rule of thirds into consideration when taking this photograph. The reflection on the water is centered in the photo. The kayaks create positive space and the water leaves negative space. The point of view makes the viewer feel like they are in the kayak. There are some shadows on the water cast by the trees. I think the photo has a feeling of serenity because the two kayaks are the only boats in view.
