For this assignment of studio portrait my images were taken during class. In the second picture I took a portrait of Hannah. In this photo this lighting highlights the right side of Hannah's face and it darkens the left. The light was coming from a studio light on Hannah's right. This picture includes Hannah's torso and head. Hannah is facing to her left away from the camera and her body was aimed forwards. The photo was taken horizontally. I shot this picture from straight on. I was a few feet away from Hannah. I think the lighting and Hannah's expression reveals a sense of mystery and seriousness.
The photo I'm comparing the last one to is the fourth picture. Instead of having a picture of Hannah this one is of me. Unlike the picture of Hannah the light highlights my whole face. The light was coming from a studio light on my right. The picture includes both my head and torso. Both Hannah and I both used props for our pictures. I was facing to my right, and unlike Hannah who was making a serious face I was in the midst of laughing. I was a few feet in front of the camera. I think my photo gives a sense of joy and excitement.
